The KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes list for travel in February 2023 has been released. As usual, Spontaneous Escapes offers are 30% off Saver award tickets on selected Singapore Airlines flights. The usual key terms & conditions apply:

  • Travel must be in the month of February 2023
  • Tickets must be issued by 31st Jan 1159pm Singapore time (GMT+8)
  • All tickets booked at Promo Award rates are non-refundable, non-changeable
  • Promo Award redemptions can only be made on the Singapore Airlines website or mobile app

Highlights from February’s list

There’s a few regulars as usual in this month’s list, such as the Premium Economy on the US nonstops. Hong Kong in both Economy and Business feature once again as well. That’s a good option for anyone looking to try the 2017 A380 business class seat.

One of the more interesting destinations is Business class from a few Australian points. Australian flights have been mostly full for the longest time, so the appearance of some ex-Australia options is a surprise. Ex-Melbourne business class on SQ218 is particularly nice on the 777-300ER, though there’s quite a bit of blackout dates for that. Southeast Asia and West Asia & Africa feature heavily as well.

Personally, I’m eyeing Hong Kong since I was already looking at a trip there next month. Unfortunately my travel dates are pretty fixed, and the ideal flights don’t have Saver inventory, and hence no Promo Awards on those. I’ve got a confirmed but not ticketed booking, so I’m still giving it some thought whether to try and move my travel dates to take advantage of the Spontaneous Escape rates.

Conclusion

The February 2023 KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes list has been released, and features many of the usual suspects, such as Hong Kong, and premium economy on the nonstops. The few ex-Australia flights also be of interest to some. There’s also a number of Southeast Asian destinations on offer in both economy and business, which is great news for anyone looking for a quick getaway.
